Job Summary
The CBRE Hotels Team in Chicago is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a full‐time position in the downtown Chicago office. The Senior Business Analyst will be integrated within the sales brokerage team and be primarily responsible for superior administrative support and team operations management. The Senior Business Analyst will assist with day‐to‐day responsibilities, contribute to business development initiatives, and carry out tasks for both internal and external clients. The ideal candidate will be detail‐oriented, highly organized, able to work well in a fast‐paced environment with tight deadlines, demonstrate clear communication skills, and be motivated to learn about hotels, brokerage, and real estate in general.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provides general administrative support to the Hotels team.
  • Prepares meeting minutes and correspondence; follows up with the team to ensure items are completed and project timelines are maintained.
  • Updates and maintains databases, HubSpot CRM, and transaction pipeline.
  • Coordinates on/offsite meetings and client events.
  • Schedules appointments, keeps calendars, and arranges travel itineraries and meeting room reservations.
  • Coordinates press releases and local representation to media and internal marketing communication groups; works with Client Services Coordinator to prepare social media posts.
  • Generates standard and ad hoc reports as required and assist with website updates (as needed).
  • Organizes the preparation and production of customized, client specific documentation utilizing CBRE’s internal templates including Exclusive Listing Agreements and Confidentiality Agreements as well as other ad hoc documents that may be required; coordinates signature and client receipt thereof.
  • Establishes strong working relationships with the team and clients.
  • Generates standard and ad hoc reports as required and assists with additional reports as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 2+ years of experience in Administrative Support, Real Estate, Finance, Hotels, or Hospitality preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to clients
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents
  • Basic analytical and quantitative skills
  • Computer skills: Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Experience with CRMs such as HubSpot or Salesforce, a plus
  • Understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations
  • Think creatively to resolve problems involving several options
  • Willingness to work hard in a transaction-oriented environment
  • High level of integrity and ethics
