Job Description/ Position Description We are looking for Data Engineer who will part of Digital Transformation project and as Data Engineer. candidate will drive and implement a robust technical framework and meticulous standards for clean data. Candidate will be designing and developing tools, data products and data pipelines that can cater to Business Intelligence, Data Analysis & Data Science needs of the organization.
Job Role/ Your future duties and responsibilities
Work with various business stakeholders and IT to identify and meet data requirements.
Able to architect, develop, and manage our data infrastructure.
Deliver scalable, testable, maintainable, and high-quality code.
Build a solid foundation, that can easily scale to changing business needs, for calculating key business metrics.
Enable cross functional collaboration by building an agile data insight driven culture.
Communicating updates and changes to the broader data team as well as contributing to and maintaining data-related documentation.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
3 to 5 years’ experience in a Data Engineering.
Proven track record in designing efficient and scalable cloud architectures.
Proficient with SQL and familiar with relational / non-relational database approaches and knowing which to apply where and when.
Understand the principles of software engineering and are comfortable coding in one or more programming languages (eg: Java, Python, Scala, etc).
Understanding of hot/warm/cold data concepts and when each is appropriate.
Experience with data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark.
Self-starter with high energy to meet the needs of a highly demanding business and IT environment
Skills include strong business acumen, future-thinking, strategic, accountable, collaborative, and proactive, all complementing strong tactical execution skills
Excellent Communication skills
Hands on experience in Azure Synapse and related products required to build a functional data warehouse.
Experience in an industry related to the manufacturing or distribution of consumer-packaged Goods to the retail sector is strongly preferred.
Familiarity or hands on experience with ETL tools like Informatica is a bonus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills that are effective at all levels in the organization.
Ability to effectively present solutions to management and stakeholders.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong organization and problem-solving skills as well as analytical and planning abilities, combined with good business sense.
An innovative individual with a high energy level who is flexible and adaptable to change.
