Roles and Responsibilities
Proven track record in establishing Global Data / Information Architecture – (traditional and modernized)
Application integration experience, including data integration design, and familiarity with modernized cloud architecture techniques.
Proven stakeholder management skills with strong communication and persuasion skills, including the ability to translate the information architecture contribution to business outcomes into simple briefings for Senior Management. Convey the “Why”.
Demonstrated experience in solution architecture design & integration to enabling a “Hybrid Cloud” data application architecture platform that leverages both on-prem (ie BW on Hana), and modernized cloud based (ie MS Azure or AWS).
Data modeling and information classification expertise at the enterprise level.
Strong knowledge of information management concepts, data warehousing, data analytics platforms and relational database engines.
Process orientation experience (i.e., able to build repeatable and reusable processes).
Stakeholder Management : Strong integrated consultancy skills (not just an “order taker or requirement gather”), demonstrated ability to influence and manage the expectations of senior business stakeholders, team members, IT management and external partners.
Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts to business language.
Knowledge of advanced analytics (i.e. Big Data) tools and concepts.
Knowledge of business intelligence tools and concepts.
Knowledge of data security strategy.
Knowledge of data access, transformation, and storage strategies.
