Roles and Responsibilities
Data architecture & Solution design
1. Data collection, Data filtering, fine tuning the datasets to well-defined data frames using Statistical modelling, EDA and visualization techniques. Apply Machine learning algorithms including – regression, classification, clustering techniques and building the business models are primary responsibilities
2. Work with business groups and technical teams to develop and maintain data warehouse platform for BI reporting.
3. Create an inventory of the data necessary to build and implement a data architecture.
4. Envision data pipelines and how data will flow through the enterprise.
5. Maintain a repository of all data architecture procedures and artifacts.
6. Evaluate current data management technologies and what additional tools are needed.
7. Determine upgrades and improvements to current data architectures.
8. Design, document, build and implement database architectures and applications.
9. Build data models for database structures, analytics and AI applications.
10. Develop and enforce database development standards.
11. Integrate new systems and functions like security, performance, scalability, reliability and data recovery.
12. Research new opportunities and create methods to acquire data.
13. Develop measures that ensure data accuracy, integrity and accessibility.
14. Continually monitor, refine and report data management system performance.
15. Provide expert guidance on Business Intelligence (BI) skills and technologies.
16. Develop scalable and maintainable BI applications to meet business objectives.
17. Define BI standards, guidelines and best practices for business groups and technical teams.
18. Support BI tools upgrades in development, testing and documentation.
19. Perform maintenance and troubleshooting activities for BI tools.
20. Diagnose and resolve BI tool capacity issues.
21. Recommend strategies to improve performance and capacity of BI tools.
22. Address customer queries and issues in a timely manner.
23. Provide BI administration and technical support during weekends, after-hours and holidays when needed.
24. Provide technical training on BI tools to junior staffs.
25. Collaborate with BI Administrators, Developers and Analysts for successful development of BI reporting and analysis solutions.
Desired Candidate Profile
1. Applied mathematics and statistics
2. Data science – Data Analysis, Data Cleaning, Designing and fine Tuning the Data frames, Data Visualization, Sta-tistical Modelling, Optimization techniques, Mathematical Distributions, Simulations
3. Machine learning algorithms – Linear regression, Logistic regression, Decision Trees, Random Forest, Naive Bayes Algorithms, SVM, Tim Series, KNN, K-Means and other algorithms etc
4. Programming – Python Programming, Python Libraries – Pandas, Numpy, Scipy (stats), sklearn, tesseract, matplotlib and other libraries learn and implement as per requirement on-demand basis
5. Subject matter expertise in one or more of the following domains fraud and risk, retail payments, banking and financial services
6. Relational database management systems, Database and cloud computing design, architectures, and data lakes
7. Power BI, Snowflake, Amazon QuickSight and Hadoop technologies like Pig, Hive and MapReduce
8. Information management and data processing on multiple platforms
9. Agile methodologies and enterprise resource planning implementation
10. Machine learning, predictive modelling, and natural language processing
11. Data mining and modelling tools
12. Data management and reporting technologies, predictive analytics, data visualization and unstructured data
13. Project management, team management and governance experience
