Chewy is seeking a highly motivated, goal oriented, and analytical, Media Strategy and Analytics Manager to join our exciting and fast paced company in Boston, MA. Reporting to the Senior Media Analytics Manager, you will be focused on finding new business opportunities, solving business problems, and manipulate and visualize data, to further accelerate Chewy’s marketing efforts. You will cooperate with various marketing acquisition teams across the organization in finding insights and developing the right data solutions. In this role, you should be effective at organizing large amounts of data from multiple data sources to find answers to performance questions and solutions to business problems. This candidate should have a passion for data quality and attention to detail.


What you’ll do:

  • Support in managing the Linear TV airings and impression data; pull reports from our media buying platform (Core), pull delivery reports from third party media platforms (iSpot and VideoAmp), and perform QA on data to provide finalized reporting to Marketing Analytics team for weekly and monthly business reviews and modeling
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of media tool capabilities and data available
  • Regularly pull optimization recommendations from VideoAmp and iSpot; share insights with the buying, creative, and studio teams
  • Work closely with video buyers to develop strategies and analysis for new program/network tests and provide budget recommendations
  • Effectively work with the linear TV and digital marketing team to find key insights, and support marketing analytics and finance with regular reporting.
  • Partner with digital video team to establish cross-channel measurement and reporting
  • Ensure that Tableau dashboard is update and support ongoing improvement recommendations
  • Provide support on ad hoc analytic requests
  • Perform data deep dives to understand changing trends
  • Work with TV and digital leaders to create and monitor test plans

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Finance, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • Extensive knowledge of media planning and measurement tools (e.g. iSpot, VideoAmp, TradeDesk, Google Analytics, etc.), Excel.
  • Proven ability in analyzing large datasets to gain insights and ability to drive business decisions.
  • Extensive experience with A/B and multivariate testing.
  • Expert knowledge of implementing ROI tracking and optimization.
  • Candidate must be organized, driven, and exhibit critical thinking skills.
  • Candidate must have an entrepreneurial and self-starting mentality.

Bonus:

  • Experience in working cross-channel marketing strategies in an ecommerce environment.
  • Knowledge of / experience with multi-channel and cross-channel attribution.
