The Role
In this role you will manage an international, service oriented insight, digital analytics and research function. This role will work with Senior Leaders across the business to timely intelligence reporting across strategic activities, client engagement and marketing. This role requires strong charisma to promote intelligence use of data and an effective story-teller to ensure buy-in across the business. The ideal candidate will have strong data and managerial experience, and a deep understanding of how data can be used. We are looking for an individual passionate about driving transformations in data-driven client experiences and is driven by providing client-centric solutions. An interest in art and the art market would be helpful.
- Translate overall corporate objectives into key deliverables for the Client Insight & Reporting team.
- Define workflows in internal and external systems to ensure correct data is captured and reported.
- Support key business initiatives by generating insights and identifying opportunities from data
- Design effective and impactful reports and visualizations for senior level executives.
- Assist in creating executive summaries and presentations to highlight analysis and tell the story.
- Drive direct and cross-function execution on analytics projects: define problems, identify appropriate data sources and analytic techniques/methodologies, ensure accurate and high-quality output, craft the story and present results and recommendations.
- Manage and mentor team; guide members on story-board/ narrative to provide rich insights
- Manage team resources and provide staff with all the necessary tools and training to improve upon existing expertise
Desired Skills
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are required, in addition to strong technical skills (e.g., SQL, Python, R), presentation & visualization skills (e.g., Tableau)
- Experience with web analytics tools like Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics is a plus
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to demonstrate subject matter authority and expertise
- Understanding of concepts behind Business Intelligence (e.g. – data warehouses, automation) and how information can be used to drive competitive advantage
- Ability to identify roadblocks in customer conversion or customer satisfaction, provide improvement recommendations that support the strategic pillars and initiatives.
- Partners with the appropriate owners to influence how analytics are used within the enterprise, defines strategy, and identifies actions.
- Critical thinking and intellectual curiosity with desire to continuously learn new skills
- Collaborator and you are able to build and establish strong partnerships at all levels
The Candidate
- Proven progressive experience delivering actionable business insights and delivering analytical solutions
- Demonstrable experience performing data analysis using database technologies such as SQL Server (or similar)
- Demonstrable experience using data presentation technologies (including but not limited to Tableau, Qualtrics, etc) to visualize and communicate analyses
- Experience in a leadership role coordinating between business functions in an enterprise environment
- Experience leading business change, persuading through the use of data, and quantifying the impact of such change to appropriate stakeholders
