Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Ascertain the organization’s data storage requirements and understand your data sources.
- Handle data modeling, data warehouse architecture, data pipeline management, and ETL testing.
- Utilize various data warehousing fundamentals for setting up a data warehouse.
- Help to collect, manage, and analyze huge volumes of data for extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Implement database structure, data marts, data stores, and data lakes.
- Develops and maintains scalable data pipelines and builds out new API integrations to support continuing increases in data volume and complexity.
- Collaborates with analytics and business teams to improve data models that feed business intelligence tools, increasing data accessibility and fostering data-driven decision making across the organization.
- Implements processes and systems to monitor data quality, ensuring production data is always accurate and available for key stakeholders and business processes that depend on it.
- Performs data analysis required to troubleshoot data related issues and assist in the resolution of data issues.
- Defines company data assets (data models), using data integration workflows tool Matillion jobs to populate data models.
- Writes unit/integration tests, and documents work.
Required Skills
- Looking for developers with 5-10 years of development experience in ETL and Data warehousing.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in SQL development and a minimum of 2 years of experience in Snowflake and Matillion development.
- Experience in developing features for enterprise level data warehouse and knowledge of data warehousing concepts is a must.
- Ability to deliver work to schedule (capable to self-manage workload and priority effectively)
- Build maintain and enhance Enterprise data warehouse in snowflake.
- Build, maintain and enhance end to end ETL pipelines in Matillion.
- Good understanding of Cloud infrastructure like AZURE and Snowflake (Highly Preferable)
- Have experience in loading data in at least one of the Datawarehouse like Snowflake, Azure and Synapse.
- Have experience in bringing data from various sources. Preferably healthcare data sources.
- Should have work experience in procedures, function and external tables.
