This position will conduct analysis activities that measures the validity of provider data and augments the provider book of record as required.
Activities may include evaluating roster accuracy, utilizing logic and analytical tools to compare multiple sources of data and decision, analyzing root cause and performing analytical techniques.
This role improves the quality of the data, the process, and improvements in data consumption.
The Quality Analyst will also identify defects and will contribute to pinpointing the causes and offer recommendations for prevention.
This role will maintain a strong focus on facts and data to understand the quality of our network, contracts, and demographics in Provider data.
The Quality Analyst should be proficient conducting sampling, designing and maintaining analytical procedures, implementing change based on findings, assisting in the development and enhancement of tools, and analyzing results to improve quality outcomes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher strongly preferred or equivalent work experience required.
3+ years of experience performing quality audits, analysis, or quality related activities within a healthcare setting.
Cigna employees should have strong experience using HCPM (ideal) and/or CPF.
Medicare knowlege highly preferred.
Solid Excel experience creating pivot tables/VLOOKUPs required.
Strong knowledge of Proclaim, PMHS, SANP, and Facets highly preferred
Experience using Minitab, MS Access, Toad, Cognos Hyperion, SAS, SQL, etc. highly preferred
Strong knowledge and exposure/experience in the healthcare operations claim process, with emphasis on healthcare providers, contracting, and provider services preferred
Strong knowledge of Network, Contract and Demographic data elements highly preferred
Strong knowledge of Provider structures and relationships
Solid communication skills with the ability to discuss data analysis results
Organization skills with the ability to manage data sets
Critical thinking skills with the ability to determine causes with consistency in results
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 67,700 – 112,900 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
