The Business Project Senior Analyst role as part of the CGHB Compliance Solutions Delivery Organization will have the opportunity to lead and support multiple phases of the delivery lifecycle while interacting with a variety of business areas across CGHB and the Cigna and Evernorth enterprise.
Analyze state and federal mandates to determine applicability to the CGHB business in consult with regulatory, legal/compliance, and business subject matter experts
Document clear, concise, and measurable business requirements and walk through with business, technology, and leadership
Maintain documentation in Open Pages, which is the enterprise system for mandates and evidence of compliance
Lead small to mid-sized compliance initiatives in partnership with scrum team product owners and scrum masters and the GHB Compliance Alliance, a team of compliance champions from business areas across the organization
Support regulatory reporting requirements by facilitating data pulls and validation in partnership with Business Intelligence and Data & Analytics
Participation in the Enterprise New Law Implementation (NLI) forum and process, which includes business leads from across the Cigna Enterprise and provides coordination of mandate implementation
Manage user acceptance testing and support
The requirements for this role are best suited for an individual with skills in both data and business analysis, as well as the ability to lead business delivery. This role will primarily involve Agile delivery; however, may interact with some teams who use the Waterfall methodology. The successful candidate must be comfortable interacting and working with individuals from all different business areas across CGHB and the Cigna Enterprise.
Skills and Experience
The suitable candidate must be able to demonstrate strong experience in the following areas:
A minimum of 3 years business analysis experience
Data analysis and validation; working with Business Intelligence and Data & Analytics
Agile methodology and delivery
User acceptance testing and support
Experience authoring in KnowledgeXChange a plus
Proven experience working on business and IT projects with an understanding of the software delivery lifecycle as well as operational adoption of new processes
Skills Required:
Strong analytical skills to critically evaluate mandates and identify true compliance needs requiring action
Strong organizational and communication skills to organize multiple sources of data and create clear requirements, including creation of written Epics and facilitation of the walkthrough
Must be a self-starter who is able to work independently and develop recommendations to progress the goals of the organization
Comfortable with raising questions, issues, ideas or suggestions to co-workers at all levels across the organization, including internationally
Ability to interpret and analyze large sets of data
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 56,100 – 93,500 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
