SUMMARY:
Provides expert content/professional leadership on complex Application Development assignments/projects. Exercises considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, and delivering initiatives. Uses deep professional knowledge and acumen to advise functional leaders. Focuses on providing thought leadership within Business Analysis but works on broader projects, which require understanding of wider business. Recognized internally as a subject matter expert.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Understand how data flows from source systems, through warehouses, and into reporting systems
Collaborate with IT and project leads to ensure business requirements are understood
Partner with enterprise architecture to create simple, efficient and effective design solutions
Research data quality issues and reporting anomalies, both off cycle and during production
Ensure the monthly accounting production cycle runs smoothly; actively participate in process improvement
Automate and execute processes where IT is insufficient or a new requirement has not yet been fulfilled
QUALIFICATIONS :
MUST BE A CURRENT CONTRACTOR WITH CIGNA, EXPRESS SCRIPTS OR EVERNORTH. E vernorth is a new business within the Cigna organization.
Understanding of basic accounting principles highly preferred
Bachelors in MIS, accounting, finance or related field required.
MBA preferred but not required
Proficient in SAS or ability to learn on the job
Ability to read and write SQL required
Ability to works with large amounts of data and understand the given data
Must be able to build effective relationships with matrix partners
Good communication skills
Candidates must be able to gather requirements, design, code, test, and implement automation processes.
2+ years of programming or systems administration experience strongly preferred
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
