As a Product Development Senior Analyst, you will support the growth and implementation of the product portfolio for Cigna’s Individual and Family Plans (IFP), a key business within Cigna’s Government Business segment. The Product Development Senior Analyst works closely with Product Design, Product Administration and Operational partners to ensure plans design comply with state and federal requirements; and supports the annual QHP filing submission to CMS/SERFF.
Job function:
- Supports the development of new products from product filing through product launch.
- Manages the end-to-end process for developing and finalizing Cigna IFP plan documents (e.g., Filing Project Plan, Binder Filings, QHP Templates, Summary of Benefits and Coverage, and other plan documents).
- Works in conjunction with multiple departments including compliance, marketing, Go-to-Market teams to bring a product to the market; and ensure product documents are distributed and displayed for all downstream users.
- Participates in product development projects of intermediate complexity.
- May lead small projects and typically works on assignments of small to moderate scope.
- Proactively monitors and tracks product deliverables and anticipates needs/issues from cross-functional stakeholders.
- Uses technical or product-based knowledge for several aspects of the product development cycle to assist with issue resolution and objection responses to CMS and/or State regulators.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years relative work experience in healthcare insurance, or equivalent experience working in healthcare insurance
- Detail-Oriented
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Solid knowledge of Medical, Dental, and ancillary products
- Solid understanding CMS process and filing requirements, terminology, and environment
- Experience identifying gaps, obtaining solutions, and effectively implementing change
- Ability to work within a rapidly changing regulatory environment
- Excellent verbal, written, and Microsoft Office suite expertise
- Ability to work independently while providing timely updates to the team
- Solid organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Team player with proven ability to manage strong working relationships within a matrix organization
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 59,200 – 98,600 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
