What you will do
Cisco’s Global Supplier Management ecosystem is an experienced, close-knit, cross-functional team that is responsible for engaging with suppliers and managing sourcing & costing process. The GSM team also supports continuity of supply, quality and develops the commodity strategies for the hundreds of products that Cisco manufactures. The team maintains close relationship with component suppliers and strongly collaborates to consistently drive innovation, productivity, and efficiency
Within GSM, the Commodity & Supplier Management Operations Services team drives end-to-end cost process and supports commodity teams on commodity & suppliers processes ,you will be part of this team.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Enabling Cost Process through Supplier RFQ Management, wherein you will be responsible for costing and quoting activities for a given commodity(s) including RFQ management, quote analysis & supporting quote closure.
- Data analytics to identify gaps in the process and solve for business challenges. Prepare analytical reports periodically to support business reviews.
- Collaborating across boundaries and multiple stakeholders to ensure highest level of data integrity is maintained & delivered
- Own and develop relationship with Commodity Managers, Manufacturing team, Finance, Suppliers & Contract Manufacturers in enabling smooth cost rollup & identification of roll up errors and optimizing current processes
- Cost variance analysis
- Process Design & Optimization: Identify areas of opportunities to improve processes and take the initiative to implement
- Build and maintain process & training documentation

Minimum requirements:
- 10+ years of experience of Commodity Management/Material Management/ Supply Chain Management/ Business Analytics
- Experience in RFQ management
- Strong Analytical Skills, strong expertise in Tableau, Excel, Other analytical tools
- Hands on Experience on ERP (Oracle, SAP) with excellent written & verbal communication skills, eye for business and program management skills
- Experience in HW Manufacturing / Product development industry is preferred
- You have a degree in Supply Chain Management or BS/BE
