Job Description: SIS – Asia CBORC Digital Monitoring Team (DMT)

What do we offer:
DMTs team supports CBORC (Consumer Business Operational Risk and Control) to prepare Asia consumer business for audit, by Identifying cases on control gaps, policy breaches and providing data evidence for audit completion. The critical areas we support:
First Line Assurance: Banking products’ & Services are in compliant with Controls & policies, any violations need to be identified and reported to CBORC team
Sales Practice: Collaborating with regional CBORC, and in-country business teams, develop certain scenarios to report the Outliers or unusual activities
AML: Any instances of AML incidents or Transaction need to be identified and reported to CBORC team
Branch Oversight Function: Branch functioning as per the policies and guidelines, any inconsistencies to be reported to BOF team
Expertise Required:
Analytical Skills
- Data analysis & Data Quality
- Proficient in formulating analytical methodology, identifying inconsistencies, anomalies & patterns with data
- Generate actionable Business Insights
(Preferred) –
Tools and Platforms
- Proficient in SAS, SAS Macro, SQL, RDBMS
- Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Excel-VBA
- Proficient in automation utilities AutoSys, Control M, LSF etc.
Preferred –
- Python
- Tableau
Domain Skills
Good understanding of
- Banking domain (Cards, Deposit, Loans, Wealth management, & Insurance etc.)
- Audit Framework
- Data quality framework
(Preferred) – Knowledge of Finance Regulations, Understanding of Audit Process
Soft Skills
- Team Player
- Working directly with stakeholders
- Ability to identify, clearly articulate and solve complex business problems and present them to the management in a structured and simpler form
- Ability to identity root cause & provide recommendation
- Should have excellent communication and inter-personal skills
Educational and Experience:
- MBA / master’s degree in economics / Statistics / Mathematics / Information Technology / Computer Applications / Engineering from a premier institute. BTech / B.E in Information Technology / Information Systems / Computer Applications
(Preferred) Postgraduate in – Computer Science, Mathematics, Operations Research, Econometrics, Management Science and related fields, Certification in Data Science- Total Analytics Experience – 3 to 6 years
