The Global Identity & Access Management (GIAM) is a global organization within Citi’s Chief Information Security Office (CISO) with 900+ employees located across the globe. GIAM manages entitlement and provisioning of access for internal Citi employees / contractors and increasingly for external Citi clients who are using Citi applications. GIAM’s mission is to Be the Best for our Partners by providing seamless and secure access to Citi systems, so our partners can focus on their business priorities and clients.
We are seeking a Business Analyst, who will be in charge of supporting project efforts aimed at improving, standardizing and streamlining processes and governance practices around the information security space, especially Identity and Access Management. The person will work collaboratively with the team’s Project Managers to develop, support, and implement projects and efforts. The role requires frequent interaction with global IT partners and information security personnel providing analysis and key project articles.
Project areas will include:
- Improving process and technical controls around access provisioning, infrastructure management and robotics.
- Working with business and technology personnel to identify gaps in the management of data or accounts, especially privileged data.
- Implementing enhanced monitoring processes and tools.
As a Business Analyst you will:
- Gather and analyze data from multiple sources.
- Develop reports and key risk indicators.
- Communicate project plans and routine updates on status to the project team, stakeholders and management.
- Consult with stakeholders to gather and document requirements and specifications for solutions and enhancements.
- Document and maintain program related training and awareness materials and communications.
- Facilitate discussions, conduct meetings and drive initiatives to conclusion.
Ideal background:
- Strong communications skills & facilitation experience with peers, particularly in English.
- University or College degree.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in business analysis and documenting business requirements. Experience in interfacing with both
- technology and business areas.
- Knowledge of technology, security, risk and compliance best practices, good understanding of systems development lifecycle.
- Analytical problem solving skills, including the ability to analyze datasets and present in a format that facilitates senior management decision making.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio).
