Data Analyst
GFT is looking for a Data Analyst to work with Treasury users and a group of seasoned technology professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Be the point of contact for all data sourcing and provisioning in and out of CitiFTP
- Assess the impact of changes from upstream source system feeds, coordinate ongoing Genesis UATs for CitiFTP between Genesis and Treasury team
- Follow through on source system data quality issues and track them to closure
- Assess data provisioning needs from CitiFTP to downstream systems and ensure accurate and only necessary data is provided to downstream systems
- Support CitiFTP Audit related to data access controls, PII attributes etc
- Create and manage CitiFTP data dictionary and data lineage documents and keep them up to date
- Document and maintain data archival policy as a living document for CitiFTP in consultation with tech and business teams
- Document data obfuscation to get proper test data in SIT environments
- Participate in creation and maintenance of good quality data in SIT environments
- Keep abreast of Citi’s data management policies and be in touch with relevant teams within Citi
- Perform the activities necessary for CitiFTP’s onboarding into Citi’s Data Management Platform (DQP, Collibra, Solidatus etc)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 10 years of total experience with about 3 years as a data guardian in a financial domain
- Proven track record in data analysis and data management (create and maintain data dictionary and data lineage, understand data classifications and obfuscation etc)
- Knowledge on data management tools like Colibra, Solidatus and obfuscation tools is a plus
- Hands on Experience with SQL queries
- Good Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good presentation skills
