The Institutional Credit Management (ICM) group is looking for a Data Quality Analyst to join its Wholesale Lending Credit Risk (WLCR) data team. ICM has been established with the objective to provide an integrated “end-to-end” credit underwriting, identification, measurement, management and monitoring for the wholesale credit businesses across the enterprise. The WLCR Wholesale Lending data team within ICM is responsible for monitoring and resolving Wholesale Lending data quality issues, for owning data remediation efforts of known issues, and for owning 1st Line data quality reporting and detection.
Responsibilities:
- Build subject matter expertise on Citi’s wholesale lending products and data architecture
- Assist the team in establishing operating standards and KPIs/metrics for the Data Quality program
- Draft business requirement documentation supporting effective data quality monitoring and measurement
- Navigate and manage complex data infrastructure supporting WLCR dependent processes including data analysis, modelling, and reporting requirements
- Assist the team in the implementation of data quality measurement methodologies and controls within the WLCR infrastructure
- Contribute to developing an operating model for data quality rules governance, implementation, and monitoring
- Prepare impact assessments of data quality issues and track the progress of systemic solutioning
- Perform analytical assessments of data quality concerns within credit risk systems which include multiple layers of enrichments and coded logic
Qualifications:
- 10+ years’ experience in a large financial institution
- Familiarity with loan products
- Familiarity with wholesale lending credit practices
- Intellectual curiosity, analytical, and conceptual thinker
- Proactively seeks and develops new opportunities
- Excellent analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills working with technology
- Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Cognos, Tableau, and other data visualization tools / technologies
Education:
- Bachelor / Master’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Computer science or other Data analytically intensive discipline.
