The Business Simplification Group is a dynamic strategic organization at the forefront of the Citi Transformation efforts. We act as a catalyst across businesses and functions driving the transformation of Citi into a simpler, customer-centric organization. We are responsible for partnering with business lines and functions to establish the framework for and execute the simplification program, which includes developing enterprise-wide domain taxonomies, publishing standard playbooks and procedures, as well as creating process and design engineering models. We also provide the businesses and functions with ongoing governance, program oversight, and metrics and reporting to ensure consistency, control, and accountability as it relates to the program. We partner with the business to develop the frameworks that are the foundations of everything we do.
This is a role within the Enterprise Architecture team supporting the execution of a defined methodology across the organization.

Enterprise Business Architect – Senior Lead Analyst
This is an opportunity to work alongside BSG business architects and process modelling teams to support the organizations immediate and long-term transformational activities impacting all sectors within Citi to:
- Maximize straight-through processing and minimize manual inputting and adjustments
- Simplify and consolidate applications with common functionalities, eliminate disparate systems and strengthen data quality controls.
This approach will leverage the enterprise architecture methodology to provide a framework to review transformations /projects across the enterprise through a common set of architecture principles and consistently monitor key architectural metrics across the enterprise.
Collaborate with business and technology partners to capture current state applications used in business processes against defined target sate process models. This will support senior management analysis to guide investment and development direction to meet our goal to Transform Citi into a customer focused organization, by simplifying the bank through clearly designed end to end processes and aligned technology with embedded risk and controls, and an integrated data architecture.
Responsibilities:
- Building a thorough understanding of core business capabilities and functions across the whole organization.
- Oversee and support current application data collection activities and monitor data quality to meet regulatory commitments.
- Manage the migration of the current application mapping data store to a new tooling platform to support the team priorities.
- Monitor and enhance the controls, change management and attestation process.
- Leverage the mapping of business and function taxonomy to current state applications to provide a means of assessing the effectiveness, cost and resilience of todays processes.
- Identify additional data elements to complement/enhance the current data sets and reports, to support the drive to reduce complexity and operational risk.

To develop dashboards to facilitate management analysis such as
- Application rationalization / Decommissioning assets
- Investment status of applications
- Adoption of the methodology
- Educator and envoy of the Citi Enterprise Architecture Methodology (CEAM).
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
4+ years of relevant experience in a business analyst or data analyst role.
Experience in one or more areas in banking including Operations, Finance and Risk preferable.
Proven track record of participation in complex and transformative projects.
Reporting/ Dashboard development skills using data visualization tools.
Exemplary written and oral skills required, ability to synthesize key messages and “storytell”
Ability to multitask and prioritize critical tasks with a high attention to detail
Motivated and able to work with teams as well as independently
