The Applications Development Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Responsibilities:

• Should have 5+ years of experience in implementing enterprise level BI projects end to end with Microstrategy and be agnostic to the reporting tool.

• Responsible for architecting and developing business intelligence solutions in accordance to enterprise standards and user requirements
• Should have been part of at least 3-4 end to end implementations
• Should have Expertise in all MicroStrategy Suite
• Must have strong understanding of BI / DW concepts, proficient in SQL, data modeling good analytical

• and data validation skills.

• Interpret data models and understanding the logical/physical database designs and help developing the appropriate

• schema model as per the need.

• Responsible for the design, implementation, management, administration and support of the Microstrategy reporting environment
• Design and develop complex reporting solutions including reports, Report Services Documents and Enterprise Dashboards for web and mobile reporting solutions.
• Must be able to design database schema with large volume of data for reports and cube build performance considering Partition strategies, Archival and summarizations.
• Must be able to do performance tuning of Microstrategy Reports and dashboards by leveraging Advance Microstrategy features.
• Should stay on top of latest features and carry out POC if required and apply it wherever necessary
• Experience with customization of reports and dashboards using Microstrategy SDK is a plus.
• Demonstrated knowledge of data warehousing, dimensional data modeling, OLAP, report and dashboard development, data mining, visualization, and data integration/transformation concepts
• Proficient in business intelligence tools, developing and delivering scorecards, dashboards, trend data in partnership with the BI and Enterprise Architects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong SQL skills with the ability to optimize, analyze, and improve database SQL performance.
• Work well with others on the team to design, develop and maintain corporate data solutions, meet project milestones, manage client satisfaction and mentor others on the team
• Experience in designing Tableau models with Live & Extract data source. Good to have experience in Tableau Prep.
• Experienced in designing data exploratory , storyline-based analytics dashboard/wireframes/prototypes.
• Familiarity with graphic design, data visualization and user experience
• Experience working with Tableau server and user management, performance tuning, security in Tableau server.
• Ability to handle large data volumes and performance analysis using Tableau Strong troubleshooting skills, able to gather necessary details in order to determine a proper solution.
• Advanced knowledge of dashboard performance optimization.
• Ability to understand the Customers Business Working experience with huge amount of data
• Strong understanding of Tableau Server configuration options

• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
