The Compliance AML Execution Sr. Analyst is senior professional responsible for performing risk and compliance reviews with a focus on AML Namescreening. The overall objective is to utilize in-depth AML knowledge to review, analyze and conduct effective analysis in support of Citi AML’s Namescreening Program’s monitoring and maintenance of the CENSE engine, ensuring compliance with AML Namescreening Policies and Procedures and in-line with Citi AML’s Risk Framework.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct deep dive data analysis for both ongoing processes and ad hoc requests using various internal and external systems and databases
- Data Driven solutions and troubleshooting among multiple Citi business lines regarding but not limited to – application effectiveness, non-detection inquiries, and ongoing Screening Platform monitoring and maintenance
- Continuous enhancement and optimization of screening platforms and engine components
- Document and report findings to various Stakeholders and appropriate Governance committees
- Advise senior management on next steps and provide recommendations on the next course of action based on analysis/findings
- Liaison with AML Screening Technology partners on enhancements and releases in support of ongoing Screening Platform expansion and development assistance.
Qualifications:
- 6-10 years’ of experience in AML, Technology Implementations, and/or related functions/roles.
- Ability to work in a team oriented environment
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Programming languages a plus including but not limited to SQL, Java, Python, R, PHP
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience required.
