Citizant is looking for a dynamic, Senior Data Analyst with a diverse data management and data governance background to lead an Enterprise Data Management effort for a U.S. Air Force customer. The ideal candidate is well qualified with an an applicable advanced degree and experienced with Department of Defense ( USAF, USA, USN, USSF) data management processes. Secret Clearance required. Hybrid work possible.
Required Skillset:
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s Degree preferred) in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Technology, or related Information Science area of focus.
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience supporting or leading Information Technology, Enterprise Data Management, Big Data, Enterprise Architecture, Data Governance, or SOA initiatives.
- 2+ years project management experience, preferably in an Agile environment using Scrum.
- Working knowledge in the design of transactional and business intelligence data stores, as well as data integration (ETL processes), data modeling, and normalization.
- Working knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture concepts, such as enterprise service bus and service orchestration.
- Knowledge of Big Data environments which utilize approaches such as distributed processing, non-relational and/or unstructured data stores, and machine learning.
- Strong written and oral communications – 2+ years of experience writing management reports, IT analytic documents, and articulation of complex issues.
- Ability to provide on-site, project leadership in Washington, DC, Tuesday through Thursday, with the opportunity to telework on Mondays and Fridays.
Desired Skillset:
- Experience supporting enterprise-level data management strategies such as the establishment of governance, processes, policies, and organizations; the development and execution of stakeholder engagement strategies and communications; and the implementation of automated data management tools.
- Experience with enterprise Data Quality solutions to support Big Data strategies, policy and guidance implementation, and cataloguing of data from disparate sources.
- Experience with Business Process Modeling Notation.
- Hands-on development experience using Java and Eclipse IDE.
- Avid interest in exploring the use of new technologies and methods in developing and deploying solutions that address enterprise data challenges.
- Strong interpersonal, communications, and organizational skills.
- Ability to stand in front of a group to facilitate solution sessions or present results.
- Experience with Erwin, Visio, and/or Collibra.
- Experience with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project).
- Experience leveraging SharePoint 2010 or above for library management.
