As a member of the Digital Analytics Center of Excellence, you will contribute to the modernization of the Digital & Customer Experience team, to support our customer obsessed culture and growing digital analytics practice.
The Digital Analytics Center of Excellence at Citizens is an analytics, tracking and delivery function with a mission to proactively anticipate and predict our customers and prospects behaviors, using data-driven insights to fuel strategic growth for the Digital Banking & Customer Experience team at Citizens. We believe that data should never exist in a vacuum; instead, it should be put to work to bring the best insights to our team, and your work will play a critical role in delivering a world-class customer experience.
To help with this, we’re looking for an outstanding Senior Digital Analytics & Reporting Analyst – someone who can analyze data sets, make insightful recommendations, and communicate strategic ideas. As a member of our team, you’ll help develop and implement digital analytics reporting and measurement across Citizensbank.com, Online Banking and Citizens Bank Mobile App, and will be responsible for gathering, structuring, and analyzing data to derive compelling insights that drive the optimization of our online marketing initiatives and customer experience across our digital properties. You will play an instrumental role in evaluating the impact of various products, marketing campaigns and business initiatives through reporting and analytics to drive business improvement and opportunity. You will assist the Digital team by extracting and manipulating data to create quantitative analysis, reporting and presentation that visualizes the data into actionable insights that inform and provide recommendations on high-level decision-making and strategy. This role will require you to work cross-functionally with our digital, marketing and business partners to ensure information is accurately being captured and reporting goals/needs are achieved.
Ways you will make a difference:
- Analyze user behavior data, pathing and traffic patterns across Citizensbank.com – collecting, analyzing and reporting on data such as traffic source, visitor behavior, page performance, and customer experience.
- Analyze marketing campaign and digital sales data, connecting back-end customer database results to site and media performance.
- Assist in the development of digital marketing measurement and optimization frameworks across all digital platforms (Digital KPIs, reporting framework, tracking requirements)
- Provide insight on data trends and anomalies, making recommendations where appropriate to improve business performance and marketing campaigns
- Create, manage and distribute data and insights via regular and ad-hoc reporting utilizing online analytic tools (Adobe Analytics, Data Warehouse and ReportBuilder) as well as automated views from Tableau or other BI tools.
- Assist in the development of automated reporting and identifying efficiencies in reporting process.
- Ensure accuracy of results and analytic methods through testing and validation of underlying report data. Ensure bias and data quality issues are resolved or explained when communication occurs.
- Identify business opportunities and opportunities for web and campaign optimization through analysis of large, complex data sets.
- Manage many priorities with minimal oversight. Plan and prioritize to hit deadlines in conditions that may change rapidly or involve ambiguity.
- Collaborate with business partners to present key findings and insights. Work closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Digital Sales, Digital Banking, etc.) to provide reporting and analysis specific to each particular team’s needs.
Qualifications
- 5+ years professional experience in an analytical role in digital analytics, digital marketing, or web analytics required
- Experience and understanding of Adobe Analytics reporting and analysis required
- Experience and understanding of data analysis and automation tools required (Tableau, Domo, Power BI, etc.)
- Fluency with Excel (including pivot tables and vlookups) required; understanding of SQL preferred
- Experience with predictive analytics tools including SAS, R, or SPSS, etc. preferred
- Knowledge of digital data technologies (Site tagging, DMPs, digital pixel tracking, etc.) a plus
- High degree of proficiency in PC applications such as Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Access
- Strong problem solving skills with experience providing business insights and recommendations from data sets
- Strong oral/written communicator with demonstrated experience translating analytics findings into business insights and influencing business stakeholders to drive action and optimize business performance
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and work effectively with colleagues and clients in multiple departments
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, changing environment and to adapt while focusing on key goals and objectives
- Passion for digital marketing and emerging trends in the digital landscape
Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Marketing or quantitative field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred
