About role
We are looking for a super-smart, innovative, and over-achieving QA Analyst with a passion for testing and trying to break what we build.
Your primary responsibility will be testing items built for our marketplace that are available for download by Gtmhub customers. You will work directly with the technical success managers to develop standard test scripts, areas to focus testing, and likely areas of problems. You will use your creative freedom to try to break the code so that our customers have the best experience possible. You will also directly support enterprise implementations by testing targeted solutions for our enterprise customers.
The successful candidate will want to become an expert user of the Gtmhub platform and use a customer-minded approach to test the software in ways those writing the code will not.
Responsibilities:
As a QA Analyst on the success team, you will:
- Work with the Technical Success Managers to develop repeatable ways to test marketplace artifacts, tools, and utilities
- Perform ad-hoc manual testing to identify issues that otherwise might not be caught
- Assist with reproducing issues reported by customers, customers success managers, and technical success managers in internal environments
- Work with internal teams and enterprise customers to assist in testing custom solutions built for those customers
- Set up and maintain internal environments used for testing, including special cases like volume testing, testing in other languages, etc.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of previous experience in a QA role, including writing and executing test manual scripts and manual ad-hoc testing in an enterprise software environment
- Experience testing in a marketplace-type environment where there are many small add-ons that can be used in different combinations and configurations
- Experience documenting issues to be fixed by developers in a task management system (Jira)
- A desire to become an expert on our product and truly understand how our customers use it
- Experience with technical tools like Postman and Git is a plus
- Ability to read and understand SQL, JavaScript, and CSS/HTML is a plus
