We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Data Analyst Intern. The ideal candidate should possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and be highly proficient with SQL. As a Data Analyst Intern, you will work closely with our data team to extract, analyze, and interpret data to drive insights and support decision-making processes within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Use SQL to retrieve and manipulate data from databases efficiently and accurately.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in the data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Support ad-hoc data analysis requests from various departments within the organization.
- Contribute to ongoing data quality initiatives to ensure accuracy and completeness of data.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in SQL with experience in writing complex queries to retrieve and manipulate data.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyze large datasets.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Experience with Metabase Dashboard, would be a plus
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality and accurate work.
- Self-motivated and proactive with a strong desire to learn and grow in the field of data analysis.
- Prior internship or work experience in a data-related role is a plus.
This internship comes with a PPO opportunity which is performance based.
