We are seeking a self-driven Technical Business Systems Analyst to take part in the full Software Development Life Cycle within the development team of Coface North America BT department in our Princeton, NJ location.
The Job
The primary responsibility of this role is to collaborate on development projects related to business needs by:
· Interfacing with key stakeholders and adequately managing expectations of what can be implemented and by which deadline.
· Analyzing openly expressed needs and extracting hidden or unknown needs.
· Analyzing, following-up and alleviating risk inherent to development projects.
· Formalizing functional analysis and development offers along with other SDLC project management deliverables.
· Ensuring clarity in requirements, which shall support quality development.
· Supporting team members in the understanding of business needs and ensure that the developments are in line with the functional requirements
· Performing coding, unit testing and formalize design as needed.
· Support regional CIO on special projects
Additional responsibilities include:
· Work very closely with the development team, sometimes dispatching tasks and monitoring development activities based on business/project needs and shifting priorities.
· Work with every level of Coface North America organization in a cross functional way.
· Endeavor to improve customer satisfaction towards application development service.
· Key actor in delivering new and innovative data extraction and reporting capabilities.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate must possess the following:
- Good communication skills – oral and written
- Strong Analytical and abstraction skills
- Quick learner and adapts to change
- Self-driven individual with high level of independence in organizing his/her own work.
- 1 to 3 years of experience involved in full software implementation projects (from requirements to “go-live”).
- A minimum of 1-2 two years of experience Developing using some or all of the following:
o Oracle RDBMS / PL/SQL
o Power BI / QlikView / Tableau / Oracle APEX Interactive Reports
o Experience/knowledge of the following IDE: SQLDeveloper
o XML/XSL:FO
The following skills are desired:
- Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Strong experience driving UAT
- Experience working within a team of developers.
- Experienced with client facing functional analysis.
- Solid ETL experience
Education:
Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience
