Power BI Architect:
We are Looking for an experienced Power BI Architect who enjoys building BI models, reporting structures, analysing datasets, and creating meaningful visualizations. A self-directed professional comfortable supporting data needs of multiple teams, systems, and products.
Job description:
- Must have 8 – 12 years of work experience in information technology with good experience in Power BI.
- Sound knowledge of Business Intelligence and Data ware housing end to end architecture.
- Strong knowledge on RDBMS concepts.
- Professional experience in Database development, Data modelling and ETL Design
- Ability to design and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures
- Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g., reporting tools)
- Ability to interact with end users and translate business needs to technical specifications
- Evaluate and improve existing BI systems
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Manages business-level client relationships (expectations, communications, negotiations, escalation, feedback, etc.).
- Drives & is accountable for operations across the full project lifecycle, from prospect to collections
- Sound knowledge of Effort estimation & building proposals.
- Ability to work in a team-based environment, as well as, the ability to work independently.
- Ability to work effectively with people of many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience
- Personal drive and positive work ethic to deliver results within tight deadlines and in demanding situations
- Flexibility to adapt to a variety of engagement types, working hours and work environments and locations
- Superb communication and negotiation skills
- Review and update technical documentation
- Manage tasks in a fast-paced environment to ensure they are completed on time with attention to delivering high quality results.
- Work closely with the various IT teams (Internal and External) to consume new data sources, refine existing data source, and build out data visualizations and self-service data access capabilities.
