POWER BI DEVELOPER with DAX
Experience: 8+ years
Skills: Power BI ,DAX
Understand business requirements in BI context and design data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights.
Create dashboards and interactive visual reports using Power BI
Extensive experience with Microsoft Power BI technologies
Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining
In-depth understanding of database management systems OLAP and ETL/ELT framework – Proven knowledge of SQL queries
Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative
Developer is responsible for the design development and deployment of multi-dimensional reports using the Cognos Business Intelligence solution
Person should have strong power bi skillset along with strong DAX writing capability.
Should have knowledge about different DAX functions and how to use them.
Should also have the experienced with the paginated report creation using power BI report builder tool.
Should be very good in writing the SQL/PL Sql code to understand and covert to VQL query
Roles & Responsibilities
Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) with clear objectives and consistently monitor those
Perform DAX queries and functions in Power BI
Analyzing data and present data through reports that aid decision-making
Design build and deploy BI solutions (e.g. reporting tools)
Maintain and support data analytics platforms
Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting
Evaluate and improve existing BI systems and/or create new systems
Collaborate with teams to integrate systems
Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
Create visualizations and reports for requested projects
Develop and update technical documentation
Work with users and team members at all level for performance improvement and suggestions
