Role Overview:
The Senior Supply Chain Design Analyst is a key role in enabling data driven decision making
for key strategic initiatives supporting our Global Supply Chain Strategy. Using industry-leading
software this role will design and create supply chain models to optimize our network and
answer what-if questions to allow our business partners to create a resilient, efficient network
that is agile and positioned for growth.
Job Description – Senior Supply Chain Design Analyst
Reporting:
Will report directly to the Advanced Analytics Lead within Global Supply Chain Analytics
Enablement
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver supply chain design solutions using modeling tool(s).
- Lead the development of modeling approaches in collaboration with key business
partners
- Understand key performance indicators and seek solutions to improve these metrics.
- Fully document modeling approach, data sources, transformations, assumptions and
constraints.
- Review and validate data, models and run scenarios in designated modeling software.
- Develop models that can be expanded to perform proactive modeling.
- Participate in the development of modeling approaches with other modelers.
- Identify and raise issues that impact model quality, scope and timing.
- Translate business requirements into a feasible modeling plan.
- Investigate new tools and solutions, identify and implement improvements to drive agility
and accelerated modeling
Project Management
- Develop, manage, and track project plans in conjunction with project manager and key
stakeholders.
- Maintain appropriate communication with stakeholders including regular status reporting.
- Identify and raise issues that may impact project quality, scope, timing, or cost.
- Obtain sign-off on scope changes and deliverables.
- Manage project close-out and final reviews.
- Identify performance improvement opportunities and effectively communicate findings.
Collaboration
- Share knowledge within and beyond Supply Chain Modeling/Analytics Team.
- Collaborate with IT to identify, validate and integrate platform/tools.
- Engage with business to understand analytics requirements.
Required:
- Higher professional education / university degree.
At Least 5 – 6 years of experience with Fast moving consumer goods companies in
Supply Chain (planning, source, production, inventory and/or distribution, Analytics)
- A strong aptitude for and interest in systems, data and analytics.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver multiple projects in parallel on time with
excellent customer satisfaction.
- Previous experience in advanced excel analysis (macros) or programming (Python, R,
etc.).
Preferred:
- Specialization in Operation Research, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain
Management, Business Analytics.
- Consumer Goods Industry Experience.
- Modeling experience.
- Previous experience in SAP.
- Experience with databases and SQL language
- Experience with visualization & analytics tools (Examples: Tableau, Power BI, Llamasoft
Supply Chain Guru & Data Guru, Alteryx).
- Internal: Cross-functional teams across supply chain with functions such as network
operations, logistics, finance, planning. Global and Divisional Supply Chain leaders.
- External: Software providers, industry forums, consultants and benchmarking providers
