- Financial Planning & Analysis for Colt DCS Capex
- Fixed asset analysis during month-end year-end
- Variance & Reconciliations analysis actual, budget, forecast & prior year for Fixed asset area
Key accountabilities
- Reviewing of Fixed cost & preparing Global Fixed asset register.
- Preparation and Review of Accruals / Provisions of Capex
- Review of Budget/forecast submission for Capex area
- Preparation / Review of MIS & other standard reporting.
- Month End Reporting and Analytical Reviews of Financial Statements.
- Supporting adhoc reporting
- Ensure completion of budget/forecast submission as per close calendar.
- Undertakes ad-hoc analytical and reporting assignments at the request of stakeholders.
- Support & review accounting for Non-standard items in compliance with group policies.
- Support monthly/quarterly/annual close activities.
- Identify process improvement opportunities.
Actively participate in preparation of process documentation.
Key performance indicators (financial and non-financial)
- Budget/Forecast submission as per Colt’s policies and procedures
- Timeliness and accuracy of reconciliations
- Timeliness and Accuracy of reports
- Timeliness and Accuracy of other deliverables
Relationships and key contacts
- Different teams within India SSC e.g. General Accounting, Sales Reporting, Billing, IT, Finance etc.
- Finance team based in Europe and Asia
Role specific requirements
Skills & Experience
Mandatory
Relevant financial experience in an international and/or complex environment, with a proven broad knowledge of financial practices and procedures
Direct track record and experience in role purpose and accountabilities
- Good Financial Planning background
- Understanding of Financial Statements in Capex area.
- Experience MIS reporting
- Subject Matter Expert in relevant Functional Area.
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate needs to possess excellent technical skills & problem solving both independently and in team setup. Take this as opportunity to work in a fast paced environment and is on “top of the numbers”.
- MBA/CA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent in India, 5-10 years’ experience
- Excellent MS office skills especially Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Macro creation added advantage
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Excellent financial system knowledge and financial reporting
- Proven ability to work with minimal direction
- Identifies and pro-actively pursues opportunities for improvement
