Skills:
Strong Azure, Databricks. While not required, Kafka experience would be a huge selling point if the candidate does have it! Need to have good communication skills and prior experience leading projects.
They need to be able to drive and encourage the team to get the work done.
The Data Engineer will work cross functionally between the Sourcing and Supplier space within the company.
They will get to be part of the ground level to build the data strategy for both the supplier and sourcing spaces. They will get to put their fingerprint on how they want this to look.
· Experience in the data development and principles including end-to-end design patterns
· Proven track record of delivering large scale, high quality operational or analytical data systems
· Successful and applicable experience building complex data solutions that have been successfully delivered to customers
· Any experience in a minimum of two of the following technical disciplines: data warehousing, big data management, analytics development, data science, application programming interfaces (APIs), data integration, cloud, servers and storage, and database mgmt
· Excellent oral/written communication skills
