A ROLE YOU WILL LOVE

Responsible for optimal communication with Foreclosure firm and related parties. Acts as a liaison between firm and internal business units with a strong focus on increasing attorney performance through communicating changes, resolving challenges, and monitoring overall performance. Performs high degree of analyst to assess opportunities for firm performance improvement, particularly with loans or firms that pose an additional risk. Performs onsite assistance as required for training or attorney transfer support.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Communicate with firm and related parties regarding firm performance reports and escalated loan issues. Primarily communicates using email and phone. This includes setting up and preparing for performance review calls. This task will also include identifying best contacts to drive performance enhancements at the firm through regular contact.
  • Works on special projects to identify opportunities for firm performance improvement, or analyze loans where there is increased risk including firm transfers, acquisitions, and investor specific loans.
  • Communicate with internal business units to assess loan status, process changes, and overall performance related issues. Identify actions needed and escalate to appropriate parties. This includes preparing formal recommendations to management related to firm selection and performance based on review of data and performance calls.
  • Perform problem resolution and identification of root causes. Provides recommendations to management on a loan by loan basis, as well as changes in procedure or process.
  • Research loan status information, document inquiries, and attorney rebuttals. Appropriately document and escalate items related to research.
  • Administrative and default related tasks, which may include a combination of any of the following: Preparing and e-mail communication to attorney firms, updating firm contact list, sending network announcements to firms, preparing performance data for firms, and tracking firm responses and inquiries.
  • Aggregate data, often from various firms, in order to help internal business units address changing regulations or business needs.
  • Assist on special and ongoing projects including, but not limited to; further development of performance reports, attorney issue tracking and attorney ranking and assignment matrices.
  • Other duties or tasks as assigned by management.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  • Comprehensive knowledge of foreclosure processes and default loan servicing.
  • Superior communication skills.
  • Superior data analyst skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and summarize and communicate it’s meaning clearly verbally and in writing to internal and external sources.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient use of LPS, LoanServ and Microsoft Office applications.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience

  • 5+ years of strong Default Servicing experience, specifically in Timeline Management (Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, etc.)
  • 2+ years of communications, public relations, or marketing experience preferred. Strong performance in FC Attorney Analyst I role

Language Ability

Ability to read/comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information in one-on-one/small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization

Mathematical Ability

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
