Position Introduction:
As the Senior System Engineer – Data Integration you will focus on using Data Integration tools for leveraging the value of the data assets throughout the organization and facilitating the development and implementation of the desired end-state data environment to inspire creativity and manage services across our enterprise analytics landscape.
You will get to explore and lead projects using industry-leading integration and analytics tools and deliver solutions that are accurate, reliable, and easily scalable to our business needs. You will also use your skills to promote optimization, continuous improvement, and asset management through strategic partnerships.
You Will:
- Interact closely with product owners and delivery managers to understand data, information, analytics, and business intelligence requirements
- Lead product delivery. Ensuring that development of new services results in a lovable experience for business owners with an Agile delivery methodology
- Architect data pipelines utilizing data integration tools such as Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) and SAP Data Services to gather and prioritize data from a variety of internal and external sources, oversee development of ETLs and data models
- Migrate data to/from various on-premise/cloud applications to cloud (Snowflake, Azure Data Lake)
- Create or lead creation of functional and technical specifications. Specifications provide details of business description of change and describe exactly what is changing in the system at a technical object level
- Work with platform and portfolio leaders to use the right toolset to support the application strategy of the portfolio and platforms. Establish data integration standards and reusable patterns for sharing of data assets for efficient use across the business portfolios
- Recognize and adopt best practices in the data integration space: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation
- Help influence IT Outsourcer service performance and escalation. Help troubleshoot complex issues/efforts with other team members or cross divisional teams
- Support the IT Outsourcer for essential incident resolution
- Partner across IT and the business to support Agile application development, DevOps, and short-cycle iterations to achieve value
You Have:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience in Information Technology (or equivalent role)
- Hands on experience supporting and building data integration models in the IICS and SAP Data Services
- Excellent knowledge of IICS and SAP Data Services, ETL concepts and EDW methodologies
- Hands on experience working on large-scale data integration projects
- Proficiency in writing and troubleshooting – complex data integration flows, data query/ manipulation, (Extract Transform Load) and data warehouse, stored procedures (PL/SQL) development, relational database design/analysis/optimization, design/create/modify tables
- PowerBI or other dashboarding tool equivalent. Experience with advanced features and scripting within dashboarding tools preferred
- Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) and SAP Data Services required.
- Knowledge of Azure Data Factory preferred.
- Experiences with integration within Big Data stack- DataBricks or Azure Data Stack or Equivalent Platforms preferred
