Job Detail:
In this role, you will oversee eligibility data accuracy and completeness across multiple client datasets. You will work with multiple data sources and cross functional teams to better understand the completeness of integrated datasets in data systems and a new data platform. You will work within the data systems to support client claims and eligibility. The Datal Analyst will also support quality assurance by performing client data checks.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the health of datasets including data completeness and data accuracy.
- Process files.
- Perform data modeling on various data sets to find value and identify patterns.
- Verify that expected inputs and outputs of combined claims and eligibility datasets provide the correct results per the business requirements.
- Collaborate with Data Intake team to identify issues with technology solutions or data.
- Develop and maintain data models, data catalog and other data sets.
- Create SQL queries that retrieve data, identification, and triage of discrepancies.
- Provide insight to internal users and members to optimize the use of the data.
- Communicate effectively with data client groups to resolve questions with reports and data inconsistencies.
- Establish strong working relationships and active communication with key internal and external customers to effectively manage expectations.
Qualifications:
- Relevant degree or certification preferred.
- 2 or more years relevant work experience preferred.
- Experience in data management required, healthcare data preferred.
- Strong understanding of data models, SQL, and other relational databases.
- Experience working with and parsing through large disparate datasets.
- Demonstrated in-depth understanding of business requirements, data specifications and relational data sets required.
- Experience with cloud technologies preferred.
- Knowledge of Data Analytics/Data Warehousing/Big Data concepts preferred.
- Project Management skills preferred.
- Experience designing, implementing, test cases and reporting data quality preferred.
