About the Role
The Business Operations Analyst will ensure the successful completion of requirement gathering and analysis for EDI initiatives. They will also provide documentation and user acceptance testing.
Responsibilities
- Being the primary liaison and leading work sessions between internal and/or external customers and Information Technology Teams.
- Gathering and defining business requirements for systems fixes and enhancements of lower to mid-tier complexity.
- Evaluating information gathered, reconciling conflicts, decomposing high-level information and distinguishing user requests from the underlying true needs.
- Writing the business/functional requirements documents for the operational and/or system changes, ensuring proposed solutions meet business/customer needs. This includes delivering: Interface Specifications, Software Change Requests (SCR), Functional Requirements Documents (FSD) and Use Cases.
- Performing User Acceptance Testing.
- Communicating key insights and findings to Product team.
- Running SQL queries to get data for analysis on project related initiatives.
- Engaging in and managing multiple initiatives.
- Recognizing opportunities to improve our EDI products, discovering issues, and delivering better value to our customers.
Requirements
- Have excellent experience in Business /Systems Analysis including working with Data Interfaces. (ANSI X12, 837 EDI standard, XML, flat (text) files)
- Be knowledgeable with domains like: Medical Bill Review, Healthcare, Insurance, Claims, EDI interfaces, or Web Service (API).
- Have experience gathering requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits and business process descriptions. Have experience with use cases, business analysis and workflow analysis.
- Have experience in writing SQL queries.
- Have experience in data analysis to draw business relevant conclusions.
- Be able to recognize hidden requirements and clarify unclear requirements.
- Have ability to quickly understand business issues and data challenges related to specific projects,
- Have excellent verbal/written communication skills including facilitating meetings, in person conversations, meeting notes, and presentation skills.
- Able to interact professionally with a diverse group, including clients, vendors, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
- Have knowledge and experience with SDLC and understanding of technical domain

Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation or sick time. For Colorado considerations only the estimated salary range is $57,750- $75,000.
