Reporting and Data Analyst (220271)

Responsible for assisting with data analysis and reporting for the billing department. Assists and follows up on various reports tracking department performance. Areas include, staffing, attendance, staff performance metrics, chargebacks, fraud, collections and Billing Admin processing. Assists in credit analysis and performance assessment of credit policy. Work with 3rd party credit and fraud systems to increase our ability to address risk and identify and mitigate fraud.

  • Provide support on various reports for management
  • Reply/respond to emails in regards to the reports
  • Collaborate with manager to track performance of various departments and functions and recommend ways to improve performance
  • Able to run ad hoc analysis and provide interpretations to management
  • Assess performance of credit and fraud models and recommend enhancements as necessary
  • Working with Work Force Management (WFM), use forecast trends and assess impact on work levels and staffing levels to maintain target service levels
  • Through reporting, track staff adherence to performance goals
  • Review staff processes and recommend performance enhancements to management
  • Able to communicate well in both one on one and in group settings
  • Follow up on daily reminders
  • Assist with departmental tracking of KPI and ROI on select functions
  • Conduct yourself in a professional manner with customers and fellow employees
  • Provide service courteously, accurately, and efficiently
  • Ensure customer information remains private, secure, and confidential
  • Correctly apply Consumer Cellular procedures
  • Adhere to attendance and punctuality standards

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or Mathematics/Statistics required
  • 4+ years’ experience as a financial or data analyst in the consumer or financial services industries
  • Cellular, Banking or Consumer Lending experience preferred
  • Call Center or Collections experience a plus
  • Experience managing large data sets
  • Modeling and forecasting experience required
  • High level experience in Excel and or Access
  • Must be able to create visual interpretations of data for presentation purposes
  • Predictive and statistical analysis experience required
  • Consumer score card experience, decision tree, regression analysis, data mining experience preferred.
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, SQL or Python preferred
  • Self-motivated, hard-working team player with proven outstanding organizational skills and very detail oriented
  • Maintain a positive attitude and outlook
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks at once
  • Ability to effectively communicate with your fellow co-workers and be flexible with the different personalities within the department
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the cellular industry
  • Ability to effectively use MS Office, MS Excel and Internet
