The Senior People Analytics Analyst will have help build the People Analytics function for Convera and evangelize how data needs to be viewed and interpreted while providing key actionable insights.The vision for the People Analytics function is to empower business users to help make better people decisions and this next team member bring the passion and necessary technical skills to help enable this vision. In addition to building dashboards and data visualization tools, you will work very closely with all HR COE functions and cross functional stakeholders from across the company to understand their needs and the transformation strategy. You will provide the Senior HRIS Analyst the necessary support to manage our new Dayforce platform for everything HR.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for partnering with business users in the people team to support the build-out of HR metrics, trends, reports, and dashboards to enable business insights.
- Support the facilitation of ad hoc reporting and data requests by looking for opportunities for self-service and automation and working closely with other members of the People analytics team.
- Applying analytical skills to design research studies of employee behaviors and outcomes.
- Developing novel predictive models and algorithms to solve business problems and continuously striving to improve them.
- Helping partners understand key insights and working with them to develop and implement action plans leading to real business impact through effective communication and close collaboration.
- Designing and conducting experiments, in partnership with a team, to understand human behavior and experiment different ways to influence it at work.
- Go beyond the numbers to extract key insights and stories from data to measure progression and communicate these insights and stories to key People team members and business stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Provide coaching to People team members and key partners on the interpretation of data to advance the use of analytical thinking and data-driven decision making.
- Partner closely with People Services to ensure that systems and data catalogs align to the analytical and data reporting needs
- Quickly learn and support the Dayforce platform by being responsible for configuration changes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, computer science, or relevant field.
- Expertise in data analysis using Excel, Tableau, SQL, SAS Suite, and Oracle.
- 3-4 years of experience in reporting using SAS Business Objects, Tableau, Excel, Oracle, SQL, and PowerBI.
- Ability to keep up with technical innovation and trends in HRIS Analysis.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in documenting processes, as well as performing diagnostic tests and audits.
