Short Description
The Planning Analyst is an integral member of the Strategic Planning and Business Development team at Cooper University Health Care. To assist in positioning the organization to be successful today and into the future, the Planning Analyst supports in developing analyses to support enterprise strategic plan development, business plans, and external business development opportunities to the full range of strategic and business planning initiatives. Produces and collects relevant financial, clinical, and market data necessary for the planning process. Working with various constituents within the planning team and across the organization, including but not limited to Service Line Leadership Teams, Finance, Enterprise Analytics, Marketing, IT.
Ability to thoroughly understand relationships among data, as well as transform raw data into takeaways and conclusions to share with internal stakeholders across the organization. Opportunity to collaborate with strategic planning team in order to influence team growth and direction, initiatives, and help advance the department’s role within the organization. Involvement in discussions, analyses, and plans to develop new and innovative partnerships with external organizations across programs and services.

Experience Required
Requires 1-2 years related business, administrative, or data analysis experience, preferably in health care
Communication and data presentation skills
Familiarity with financial analysis and demonstrated experience analyzing data
Demonstrated ability to research, collect, and present information
Education Requirements
B.S. Required.
Preferred majors include: Finance, Business Administration, Health care Administration, Health Care Policy, Economics, Informatics, Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Accounting, Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Science.
Experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Wor

Scheduled Days / Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00p
