We are looking for a data engineer manager to build and manage a team of data engineers focused on building efficient data pipelines and toolsets that power insightful data products, dashboards and analysis. You will be contributing to and supporting the efforts to improve our data infrastructure and ensure that our end users can focus on analytic processing rather than data inputs and infrastructure.
Responsibilities:

- Manage a team of data engineers responsible for building robust, reliable, scalable, and efficient data pipelines for providing high quality data for analytics.
- Provide architecture guidance and expertise in the delivery and management of data for consumers.
- Work with other data engineering, data platform, and data governance leads to enforce best practices and standards across the group.
- Identify new opportunities aligned to strategic goals of the business related to data engineering.
- Provide and articulate opportunities for continuous improvements to existing systems around data architecture and tooling.
- Work with data domain owners and key business users to provide architecture guidance and technical requirements around data pipelines.
Qualifications
Requirements:

- You have experience managing technical teams.
- You have experience building repeatable and reliable software.
- You have worked with cloud computing technologies and complex data (AWS is preferred).
- You are good at taking requirements from business and converting them into scalable data solutions.
- You understand and are comfortable leveraging open source solutions.
- You have exceptional communication skills.
- You are interested in data science and analytics.
- You are passionate about working in a collaborative environment.
- You are self-directed with a passion to explore more cutting edge of technology.
- Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, MIS, Information Management, or relevant experience in the requirements listed above.
