Responsibilities:
- Lead the evolution of the Coupa BSM Data Science Applications.
- Manage a data science team.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to identify value across Coupa BSM suite that could benefit from data mining and find creative and elegant solutions by making use of advanced machine learning & other analytical methods
- Develop, organize and launch projects spanning data science & engineering.
- Influence & support our product decisions.
- Be an evangelist for data science & software engineering best practices.
- Lead an agile team where quick iterations and good feedback are a way of life.
- A good team player, works and communicates well with others.
- A self-driven individual.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in building data science & quantitative applications mining massive amounts of data.
- Proficiency in Machine Learning stack (Python, Scikit-learn, Tensor flow, Spark etc.) and solid understanding of ML algorithms including deep learning techniques.
- Proficient programmer.
- Solid understanding of the BSM domain.
- Ability to direct and mentor a team.
- Experience with Financial applications.
- Demonstrated ability to create and drive roadmaps for data products.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
