ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Analyzes financial results, monitors variances, and recommends actions to management.
- Analyzes standard costs for the company and recommends appropriate changes in standard costs to management.
- Analyzes profitability and recommends pricing adjustments to management.
- Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance.
- Develop and provide key metrics to all levels of the management team (e.g. throughput and production analytics, core/materials cost and quality reporting)
- Identify trends in financial data and report trends and inconsistencies to upper management.
- Develop financial models as needed and presents findings to management.
- Contribute to continuous process automation and improvement.
- Prepares routine and ad-hoc financial reports and analysis and presents findings to management.
- Complete special projects as assigned by upper management.
AUTHORITY:
All personnel are responsible for quality and therefore have the authority to stop production, if necessary to correct quality programs.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Detail oriented with excellent analytical skills
- Good organizational skills, including the ability to meet deadlines
- Operational finance experience a plus with ability to work across multiple entities and/or functions
- Accounting/GAAP knowledge
- Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects
- ü Strong IT knowledge, including the ability to learn and write reports in new programs
- Good interpersonal skills, including ability to coordinate work with co-workers in same and other departments
- Strong PC skills including SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, Data Warehouses. Experience with Business Intelligence (PowerBI) a plus
- Proficiency in Spanish a plus
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Be able to sit most of working hours.
Be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field
