The Senior Pricing Analyst analyzes and implements pricing, packaging, and monetization strategies. This individual is responsible for supplying data, models, and guidelines for what pricing actions can be executed given market, technical, and/or process constraints. In addition, this individual contributor is proactive in building strong relationships with boundary partners in Product, Sales, and the broader Analytics community to understand system design and limitations for pricing strategy execution.

Build analytical models to determine which price models & price metrics best aligns with perceived & actual value as directed in the Pricing Strategy

Understand the products, how they work and what value they provide in order to recommend attributes that would drive our pricing and packaging

Build & maintain foundational pricing data and models to support Pricing Strategy in Excel / SharePoint

Being able to develop / code / maintain pricing models and data in our Snowflake and other environments using Alteryx or SQL is highly desired but not required. We are willing to invest and train the right candidate

Familiarity with languages used in statistical analysis like R, Python, SAS, etc. is also high desired but not required

Work to understand the specific systems required to execute pricing actions across the business unit
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Economics, Analytics, Statistics, Finance, Business or Information Technology and 4 years of experience in a pricing or analytical role OR an equivalent combination of education and work- related experience
Preferred Qualifications:

Proven track record operating in a support capacity in a high functioning environment

Strong experience in Microsoft Excel: Lookups, conditional statements (Avg IF, SumIF, etc.), pivot tables, advanced modeling

Experience / familiarity in writing or maintaining SQL queries utilizing a variety of joining and transforming methods preferred

Familiarity with workflow-based data extraction and transformation tools, such as Alteryx

Experience with ETL (extract, transform, and load) concepts. Comfortable with accessing, transforming, and joining large data sets from a variety of sources

Technical Skills: Outstanding analytical skills and a high degree of intellectual curiosity who can help connect dots

Build Relationships: Establish and maintain positive working relationships with others, both internally and externally

Communicate Effectively: Speak, listen and write in a clear, thorough and timely manner using appropriate communication tools

Collaboration: Work cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problems, and make decisions
