here’s what will be in store for you at CRED once you join as a software development engineer in test for data science.
what will you do
- work on a disruptive product that’s still in its early stages
- design and implement manual and automated test processes for quality assurance of machine learning datasets, machine Learning models and data platform related services
- collaborate with data scientists and engineers to understand and fix data quality issues with machine learning models in production.
- design and implement integration tests covering machine learning models with a variety of datasets
- tracking quality assurance metrics
- taking ownership of the end-to-end system and taking all requirements, issues, and enhancements to closure single-handedly.
- develop and maintain the automation framework and scripts for regression, smoke, sanity and continuous integration
you should apply If you have:
- 3-5 years of proven work experience as a software development engineer in test.
- backend/API testing experience with strong basics and understanding of backend systems.
- experience with relational databases and SQL queries
- experience with testing RESTful data services and APIs
- strong experience in object-oriented design and development along with API automation
- built, improve, scale and maintain the automation framework, utilities and self serve tools
- detail-oriented, analytical and creative thinker with a passion for quality
- good programming skills like python, go, Java or scala
- sharp analytical abilities, proven design skills, excellent communication skills
- basic understanding of data science / ML workflow would be a plus
- prior hands on experience or knowledge with S3, messaging queues, caching, redshift, nosql, AWS, spark and other big data tools is a plus
good to have:
- prior hands-on experience as a data/ML QA engineer/ analyst
