Your field of responsibility

The Compliance MI function is responsible for establishing and maintaining Compliance Information and Compliance Metrics Management within the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) division. To support strategic data and reporting initiatives and transformation, we offer a challenging role as a Business Analyst, as part of the team located in Pune. Your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Be part of a highly motivated international team operating in a fast paced global, multi-cultural and diverse environment
  • Take ownership to gather and analyze business requirements, to execute functional gap analysis, and to support the translation of policies, frameworks, and standards into IT requirements
  • Drive strategic and pivotal initiatives to accelerate regulatory and audit requirements and support regulatory and audit data requests
  • Help shape the Compliance Reporting Strategy and be responsible for business and data analysis as part of Compliance Reporting Initiatives, defining metrics and reports for effective management of compliance risks
  • Design and implement target operating models in collaboration with subject matter specialists to reduce operational risks, i.e. sustainable governance models, processes, and procedures
  • Define business-as-usual processes and procedures for standardized regular reporting and implement relevant steps
  • Visualize governance, process, and procedure models using various tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint, iGrafx, etc.

Your skills and experience

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A University degree or an equivalent education in Business Administration, or Technology- / Engineering-related fields is essential
  • Minimum 8-10 years of proven relevant professional experience, ideally in the financial services industry
  • Outstanding analytical skills and problem solving skills, able to use new technologies and tools to analyze and explain complex information, identify gaps, and define next steps
  • Proven experience in analyzing and documenting business processes, systems, and data flows, as well as in elaborating and documenting target operating models, processes, procedures, and business requirements towards IT solutions
  • Proven understanding of financial products and transaction types is an advantage as well as knowledge of banking processes, in particular with respect to compliance functions
  • High sense of responsibility, result oriented, and independent working practice, showing initiative and high level of reliability, delivers on time, with a sense of urgency, attention to detail, and quality standards
  • The mentality to partner with various stakeholders across the Bank (Front Office, Legal, Compliance, IT, Product Specialists) to understand underlying issues and opportunities, and elaborate pragmatic solutions
  • You are a positive minded and flexible individual, with a can-do attitude
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
