Job Location: Pune
The role will be a part of SSI Global Business Solutions (BS) Team. This role will represent the interests of the SSI production team and partner with the Solutions Delivery (IT) Group in preparation for any strategic or tactical change projects/releases with potential impact to the function. This role will also manage any complex or ambiguous projects for the SSI production team. Responsibilities will also include identifying and implementing process improvements which generate efficiencies and improve controls and meet regulatory and audit requirements
This role will be involved in book of work prioritization, Business Requirements elicitation and documentation (BRD), Functional Requirements review, UAT support etc. Additional responsibilities include establishing strong working relationships with the Business partners and representation of SSI Global Business Solutions team in various forums.

The Team has SSI SMEs based in different locations: Singapore, India, Poland and the US. You will have a unique opportunity to provide business solutions while working in a global-team on various business critical, regulatory and mandated projects.
BS Team works very closely with most of the Business Departments across the globe. That creates a great opportunity to find out how the investment banking process works end to end. This role will also manage Projects from a milestone/delivery tracking perspective and will be required to create monthly status reports/RAG for senior management in Ref Data. Our current team consists of highly flexible individuals who are SMEs in Reference Data space, and are expected to be the change advocates for the function.

Your skills and experience
SSI (Standard Settlement Instruction) team is part of Reference Data department and is a critical function within Group Operations. Reference Data Business Solutions (BS) Team has the key responsibility of improving business processes for the Global Reference Data Group. The desired skills and experience for the role are as following:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, IT related fields is essential
- You have 6+ Years in Financial services / Investment Banking
- Static/Reference Data Business Analysis/Project Management experience is preferred
- Outstanding analytical skills, and good communication skills
- Proficient Business Requirements elicitation/documentation skills
- You are familiar with the Software delivery lifecycle stages, and have experience working in strategic projects
- You have experience in Change the bank and/or Transition projects along with complex strategic or tactical Reference Data projects
- Proven ability to work well within teams as well as an individual contributor
- You are a self-starter capable of working in a fast paced environment
- Contribution to the process optimization, participating in improvements in execution and quality reviews is required
