Job Location: Pune
Your responsibilities include:
- Build, modify, and maintain Test Automation Frameworks for different work steams within Controls portfolio
- The role provides an opportunity to apply both automation and manual skills where there is a significant opportunity to personally influence the Software Development Lifecycle methodology transition to DevOps
- Completely Own automation execution and assist with the transition to DevOps methodology along with other team members
- Interact and coordinate with project peers across the globe (Pune, NY and Raleigh)
- Maintain the functional test portion of the Continuous Integration pipeline
- Define, document, and conduct training on test automation practices, tools, and coding standards
- Trouble-shoot application issues and report technical findings to development
- Own the delivery of the project from QA standpoint

Your skills and experience
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance area and automation or regression testing experience
- Investment Banking domain knowledge as well as SQL experience
- Java development knowledge is added advantage
- Ability to drive the activities is must
- Knowledge and experience of improving test coverage, review and filling gaps in existing automation and manual tests
- Ability to diagnose application issues (reviewing applications logs, reviewing server stats, etc.)
- Good understanding of Test driven development / behavior driven development
- Strong knowledge of Rest API Automation testing
- Java coding skills, OOP concept knowledge and experience with Java Testing frameworks (e.g. Junit/ TestNG, Maven)
- Working experience with Test automation tools and frameworks for web and standalone applications (e.g.: Selenium, Test NG, Junit, Cucumber).
- Continuous Integration / build systems’ knowledge (e.g. Jenkins, Git)
- Experience of using JIRA, ALM Quality Centre (or equivalent tools)
- Knowledge on SDLC, Agile, TDD, ATDD, BDD concepts
- Non-functional testing experience (e.g. performance, load, stress)
- Good to have knowledge around cloud based technologies
