Job Location: Santa Clara, CA
CTG is seeking an Epic Business Intelligence Reporting and Analytics Developer/Analyst for a client based in California.
Location: Santa Clara, CA (Hybrid model – onsite 1-2 weeks a month)
Contract Length: 8+ months
Objective:
- The consultant will provide end-to-end delivery of reporting and analytics solutions in an Epic Clarity cross-functional Clinical/Financial domain.
- Work focuses on QIP metrics and ensuring compliance with deliverables by performing quality data audits and analysis.
- Works with and is a liaison between the customers, application teams and appropriate IT personnel when necessary on a regular basis to align technology functionality to operational processes.
- Applies knowledge of clinical workflows to understand and interpret regulatory specifications, and additional duties as assigned.
- The consultant’s primarily deliverables will be a portion of the 50 metrics required for QIP Performance Year 5. That includes understanding, developing, and peer reviewing metric drafts for both accuracy and performance improvement before their finalization by the June 2023 submission deadline using standardized processes.
Certifications:
- Epic Clarity Data Model/Clinical or Financial
Responsibilities:
- Review waiver metric specifications for logic and data set changes and translating them into technical requirements
- Develop new metric code or update existing metric code based on new or revised metric definitions
- Analyze result sets and present to operational leadership in easy to read and actionable formats
Required Skills:
- Excellent SQL skills in Epic Clarity, and familiarity with all clinical and financial coding tables
- Metric experience with pay-for-performance programs like QIP or HEDIS
- Strong ability to work directly with operational clinical leaders, project office, clinic staff and other stakeholders
Desired Skills:
- Experience with payor claims and eligibility data elements and structures
- Infrastructural skills in designing, transforming, and using data structures including partitioning, data cleansing, to enable metric-related efficient queries. Balance between data structure and query load.
- Ability to interpret specs independently, revaluate pseudo code, and question decision points as appropriate.
