Quality Systems Analyst

Description

Supports the Quality Systems Manager in ensuring Corporate, BU, or Area standards are implemented. Gathers and analyzes data. Provides training for all Quality Function IT systems. Resolves software problems & bugs. Conducts audits for systems compliance and improvement.

Collect data to support communication between the organization and the BU and Corporate Quality leadership.

Support definition and documentation of the key processes of the business as contained in the business management system manual.

Support analysis of management review data/information to identify key process gaps, need for assessment, etc.

Support development of input materials related to customer satisfaction / dissatisfaction, scorecards, complaints, etc.

Help maintain the Business Management System (Quality) manual containing the scope of the management system, the documented procedures or reference to them, and a description of the interactions between the processes of the management system.

Support entry of documentation and identify problems needing addressed, including follow up on overdue approvals, reviews, ownership changes, etc.

Perform audits, maintain audit plan/schedule document and audit records, gather and analyze information related to audit program and produce reporting.

Provide information as necessary to external auditors or Certification Bodies, complying with content, timing, and format requirements.

Participate in supporting implementation and training of the standard Cummins Quality Mangement Systems (CQMS).

Deliver specific quality systems related education, i.e. QSi User Training.

Problem Solving – Solves problems using a systematic analysis process by leveraging industry standard methodologies to create problem traceability and protect the customer; determines the assignable cause; implements robust, data-based solutions; identifies the systemic root causes and recommended actions to prevent problem reoccurrence.

Interpersonal savvy – Relating openly and comfortably with diverse groups of people.

Quality Leadership (Cummins Operating System) – Demonstrates knowledge of the Cummins Operating System, quality management systems by applying the ten practices to assess business segment and functional performance, set strategy aligned with business needs and create consistency of purpose for continuously improving products, processes, services; enables data driven decision making and removes barriers to enable individuals to have line of sight to the customer; uses metrics to drive continuous improvement.

Quality System Management – Guides in the practice and application of quality management system standards required by international certification bodies, industry specific regulatory authorities and customer’s contractually specified requirements.

Schedule Management – Manages the project schedule using the recommended project management tools and processes to drive completion within the agreed timeline.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

Associate or Bachelors degree or equivalent business experience

Green Belt trained or willing to be trained and work towards certification

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience

Entry level experience.

Workexperience and background on how to prepare Quality Check Plans, Samplingmethodology, process Audits, process improvements

Six Sigma and other tools

This role is to offer support in the US timezone and hence incumbent needs tooperate in rotational Night Shift (6PM to 3AMIST). At CGSA we offer Night Shiftallowance & Pickup and Drop facilities(within PMC & PCMC jurisdiction)to all employees working in this shift.
