Job Description Summary
The ESG and ENERGY STAR Data Analyst will support Cushman & Wakefield Asset Services in ensuring all buildings nationally are benchmarking utility performance (energy, water, waste, and other ESG aspects). They will assist property teams with ensuring all data is collected and reported to respective benchmarking authorities. They will also develop tools and resources to support this action across various geographies. They will also complete ENERGY STAR applications, including completing site visits as needed, as well as LEED IAQ Testing. Travel: up to 50%
Job Description
ROLE DESCRIPTION
- Assist in managing the C&W national Energy Star Portfolio Manager Account, which includes:
- Connecting with property team to ensure Energy Star models nationally are updated
- Educating Property Teams on how to update and maintain ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager models
- Reviewing and inputting energy, water, and waste data into ENEGY STAR Portfolio Manager
- Developing new ENERGY STAR models or updating models with occupancy changes
- Developing applications for Energy Star Certification Submission, and completing on-site Indoor Environmental Quality testing and verification (as trained by PE)
- Managing the submission of energy and water data to local/state entities to meet local ordinances
- Assisting in the development of the Energy Star Partner of the Year Application annually
- Utilize third-party software and platforms as need, including but not limited to:
- Local Utility Aggregated Data Portals
- Measurabl
- MACH
- Aquicore
- Lucid
- Yardi Voyager
- Business Development and Educational Resources
- Assisting in researching clients and properties for business development
- Updating databases of ESG aspects for the C&W managed portfolio
- Working with the team to develop Business Development strategies and materials
- Developing educational resources and communications around utility benchmarking, local ordinances, ENERGY STAR, and third-party tools for property teams nationally
- Qualifications
- Experience with ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager
- Experience with utility portals for obtaining aggregated energy data
- Experience with benchmarking buildings and reporting to local ordinances
- Experience with Measurabl desired
- Excellent Multi-tasker
- Highly organized
- Highly responsive
- Able to work remotely and independently
- High level of experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Interest in energy and sustainability
- Good communication skills (written and oral)
