Job Description
As a Data Engineer on the Analytics and Behavior Change team you will be responsible for designing data quality strategies for databases and systems used to support the Accordant Care Management program. Strategies include analyzing data for changes, gaps or inconsistencies and building data quality structures to validate data is complete and ready to consume for all internal and external facing reporting.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Utilize strong programming skills to explore, analyze, and interpret large volumes of data in various forms; Conduct analysis of data trends
- Design and develop data solutions using industry leading tools, technologies and best practices to profile data
- Collaborate with a cross-functional teams to understand data needs, data gaps, and data inconsistencies; proactively communicate potential impacts to internal and external program reporting
- Develop a thorough understanding of the business and the data available; Stay informed of business changes, program changes and changes to the applications which could drive changes in the data
- Influence design of and build data quality strategies to identify potential data gaps that would impact reporting
- Collaborate with Data Quality and IT teams to resolve data quality issues identified during the reporting process
- Collaborate with IT teams to understand all existing data mappings within the data warehouse as well as provide guidance on defining new data mappings
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: $ 60,000
Maximum: $ 128,700
Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
Required Qualifications
A minimum of 1 year of post-graduate data analysis and analytical programming logic working in SQL or similar database system including SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, or DB2

Preferred Qualifications
Ability to leverage multiple tools and programming languages to analyze and manipulate data sets from disparate data sources
Ability to understand complex systems and solve challenging analytical problems
Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot data issues and understand impacts
Proven track record of collaborating with colleagues and business partners to understand the business and analytic requirements, present findings and offer solutions
Experience working directly with other analysts and IT to design and deliver sound data solutions, minimizing reoccurrence of data problems
Solid organizational skills with focus on accuracy and attention to detail
Experience building dashboards and reporting to demonstrate data trends
Experience working with one of the cloud platforms –GCP preferred
Experience working with EPIC data or similar EMR application a plus
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Machine Learning, or related discipline.
Master’s degree a plus.
