Job Location: New York, NY
Aetna Resources LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in New York, NY: Senior Manager, Data Engineering to design and develop complex and large-scale data structures and pipelines to organize, collect, and standardize data to generate meaningful insights and address reporting needs. Duties include: design, create and manage large-scale data structures, data pipelines, and efficient Extract/Load/Transform (ETL) workflows; develop large-scale data structures and pipelines to organize, collect and standardize data to generate insights and address reporting needs; write ETL processes, design database systems, and develop tools for real-time and offline analytic processing; collaborate with data science teams, transform data and integrate algorithms and models into automated processes; design data marts and data models to support Data Scientists and other internal customers. Integrate data from a variety of sources, assuring that they adhere to data quality and accessibility standards; and analyze current information technology environments to identify and assess critical capabilities and recommend solutions to business problems.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 156,825
Maximum: 156,825
Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, Engineering or a related field and two (2) years of experience in each of the following: Hadoop; Scala; Java; Python; Linux; Teradata; Hive; managing GIT source repositories; writing source code; preparing test data; and testing and debugging programs.
