What You Will Be Doing
The key functions of this role will be to support the data team, field ad-hoc business requests, and help maintain the database infrastructure.
A viable candidate will have fundamental SQL skills, a desire to dig deep, and the ability to create intuitive reports and dashboards.
This role is a growth opportunity for anyone looking to build a diverse skill set and focus on bridging gaps between financial, operational, and analytical teams.
What You Need for this Position
- Moderate to Advanced SQL Skills including JOINS, UNIONS, PIVOT, and WINDOW functions
- Some database administration knowledge
- Intermediate scripting skills in Python including OOP
- Fundamental Power BI or dashboarding skills
- Experience working in Microsoft Azure and/or AWS
- Databricks / PySpark knowledge requested but not required
- Apache Kafka and/or Confluent Cloud experience
- Some experience building ETL / ELT data pipelines
- Basic Linux experience
- Finance / Business / Market comprehension requested but not required
